Voices of lefferts

I’ve been practicing oral history since 2017 and am a proud alumnus of Oral History Summer School in Hudson, NY. Currently, I’m oral history director at Voices of Lefferts, a community storytelling project in Central Brooklyn. In this role, I’ve:

• Trained volunteers to conduct oral histories and overseen their fieldwork

• Secured a long-term archiving partner, ensuring that our collection of 50+ interviews will be available to the public for many years to come

• Prepared oral history excerpts for publication in the Voices of Lefferts journal

• Conducted community storytelling events, such as author readings, a story circle, and a community listening party
